Shipping policy

SHIPPING POLICY:

We deliver nationwide to all street addresses across New Zealand and Australia. Our shipping process is designed to be clear, straight-forward and hassle free.

STANDARD SHIPPING - NEW ZEALAND

Shipping Details for Sausage Casings and all other items except those listed further below:

  • We offer express shipping via New Zealand Couriers on all orders for a flat fee of $9. Rural deliveries are charged at a flat fee of $10.50. Free shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding Sausage Making Equipment (see below)
  • Orders are dispatched on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, except Pork Fat, which ships only on Mondays and Wednesdays. Orders placed before 12:00pm on dispatch days are sent same day; otherwise, they ship on the next dispatch day. We do not dispatch orders on weekends or public holidays.
  • Delivery typically takes 2-3 business days for the North Island and 2-4 business days for the South Island. Please allow an additional 1-3 days for Rural Delivery
  • Your order will be delivered by courier to any New Zealand address, residential or business. Please note, we do not deliver to PO Box addresses.
  • Packages are sent with 'no signature required', meaning the courier will deliver your parcel even if no one is home.
  • Delays may occur due to weekends, public holidays, severe weather, capacity constraints, or other factors beyond the control of our postal and courier partners.
  • All packages are dispatched via trackable courier. You will receive a tracking number upon placing your order to monitor its progress.
  • Please ensure your address details are accurate to help ensure successful delivery.

STANDARD SHIPPING - AUSTRALIA

Shipping Details for Sausage Casings and all other items except those listed further below:

  • All Australian orders are shipped from our Melbourne warehouse via Aramex Couriers.
  • We offer express shipping on all deliveries for a flat fee of AUD $12.00. Rural deliveries are charged at a flat fee of AUD $40.00. Free shipping is available on orders over AUD $200.00.
  • Orders are dispatched on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Orders placed before 12:00pm on a dispatch day will be sent the same day; orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next scheduled dispatch day. We do not dispatch orders on weekends or public holidays.
    • Estimated delivery time is 2-3 business days. Please allow an additional 1-3 business days for rural deliveries.
    • All deliveries are made to Australian street addresses only (business or residential). Please note, we do not deliver to PO box addresses. 
    • Packages are sent with 'no signature required', meaning the courier will deliver your parcel even if no one is home.
    • Delays may occur due to weekends, public holidays, severe weather, capacity constraints, or other factors beyond the control of our postal and courier partners.
    • All packages are dispatched via trackable courier. You will receive a tracking number upon placing your order to monitor its progress.
    • Please ensure your address details are accurate to help ensure successful delivery.

    SAUSAGE MAKING EQUIPMENT - NEW ZEALAND ONLY

    • Additional shipping charges apply to our sausage-making equipment and are calculated at checkout.
    • Due to their size and weight, the following products are classified as oversized by the freight carriers:
           - Electric Sausage Stuffer 15kg
           - The Rural Meat Mincer & Sausage Stuffer 750W
           - The Rural Meat Mincer & Sausage Stuffer 850W
    • Oversized items cannot be delivered to residential or business addresses. These must be collected by you, from the nearest Mainfreight depot to your location.
    • Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery. Once dispatched, a tracking number will be provided. You will be contacted by the freight depot when your order is ready for collection.
    • Note: Manual Sausage Fillers (3kg or 7kg) are not classified as oversized and can be delivered directly to your address.

    PORK FAT - NEW ZEALAND ONLY 

    • Pork fat is available for delivery to North Island urban addresses only. We are unable to ship pork fat to South Island or rural delivery addresses.
    • Orders for Pork Fat are dispatched Mondays and Wednesdays only. Orders placed before 12:00pm on these days will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off will be dispatched on the next scheduled business day.
    • If your order includes other products (such as casings), these may be dispatched separately. Casings will be sent first, with pork fat dispatched the following Monday where applicable.
    • All packages are sent with 'no signature required', meaning the courier will deliver your parcel even if no one is home. Once delivered, it is the customer's responsibility to refrigerate or freeze the product as soon as possible.
    • Due to transit time constraints, we cannot currently ship pork fat to South Island or Rural Delivery addresses.

    SHIPPING POLICY

    • By placing an order, you agree to pay all shipping and handling charges displayed at checkout.
    • Order fulfilment and shipping are managed by third-party providers. Deliveries are made via a standard postal or courier service of our choosing to street addresses in New Zealand and Australia. We do not deliver to PO boxes.
    • All products are supplied under a shipment contract. For orders fulfilled by our third-party partners, ownership and risk pass to you once the goods are handed to the courier. For orders fulfilled by us, ownership and risk pass to you upon delivery of goods by the courier.
